ENGLISH MATTERS is a multi-level English course taking learners from CEFR: A1 to A2+. The program:

Supports the development of English proficiency in the four skills. English Matters helps students develop language skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening with a focus on functional, everyday English.

Provides English in the real world. English in the Real World activities help students develop skills for using English in academic and/or workplace settings with communicative, collaborative tasks.

Offers detailed Grammar support. At every level, English Matters offers detailed grammar support and review with the Grammar Workshop sections and the Grammar Presentation videos.

About the Author

Christopher Wenger

Christopher Wenger is the author of all Green Mountain Education series including English Matters. Chris holds a Master of Arts in TESOL from Anaheim University and has worked in educational publishing for nearly 30 years. Chris is an avid language learner and tries to bring knowledge from his own language-learning experiences to the materials he creates for learners of English as a foreign language. He has written and developed a number of series for learners in Latin America, Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. Before his career in educational publishing, Chris taught English in Japan and Korea. He currently lives in Vermont with his husband and two children.
